| Stove Top Pot Roast |
| 2 - 3 lbs chuck roast or brisket 3 onions, chopped 1/2 garlic glove, chopped 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp paprika 3 sticks celery, sliced 3 carrots, sliced 3 potatoes, peeled & cut in quarters 2 Tbsp oil 1 1/2 cups boiled water Brown onions in oil over medium fire in a deep pot. Add the meat and brown. Flavor meat with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic. Add the water, cover, and cook over low fire 1 hour. Turn meat over, add celery, carrots, and potatoes (add more water if necessary). Cook another 1 hour. |
